COACH-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM

About the program

The Coach in Residence program is designed to improve business performance by guiding individuals, leaders and teams to define and achieve their best performances. While this result will be a measurable outcome, the real goal is for leaders and teams to clearly understand how to better utilise their existing resources (eg time, skills, money, data, relationships, etc) and development new ones such as high performance coaching.

Coaching has always been a key tool in the leadership kitbag but has become more valuable to leaders today as it essentially involves understanding people, creating relationships with them, and in so doing enables the leader to stretch individuals and the team to sustaining peak performance.

The Elements

  • Individual sessions to provide us a snapshot of the individual through organisational profiles, performance assessments and interview.

  • Coaching framework for individual, leader and team development. Delivered through group workshops and then accountability session follow-ups.

  • As part of the ‘What’s your Everest’ framework, we assess the team’s current position relative to world-class standards. This assessment guides priority-setting for the team’s Everest vision, delivered through group workshops and follow-up accountability sessions.

  • We conduct sessions with each leader, observing their behaviors, actions, time management, and individual coaching. The review includes insights from ‘What’s your Everest’ learnings and agreed-upon delivery evidence, observed during daily work interactions with staff, peers, and higher-level management.

  • These group sessions focus on accountability and personal responsibility. Participants discuss their commitments and actual achievements. The Coach in Residence facilitates these sessions, emphasising work practice standards and team performance culture.

  • The course will provide various resources, including the “If Better is Possible” eBook, Set Plays learning module, “What’s your Everest” Playbooks, Peak performance assessment tool, and leadership topics. These resources will be accessible through an online portal.

  • Every quarter, a special guest will conduct a Master Class on topics relevant to leadership and coaching. These topics may cover handling difficult conversations, managing super-egos, building resilience in the workplace, and effectively dealing with data and information overload.

  • The course includes regular active walking sessions where the leadership cohort, coaches, and experts engage in conversation while walking. The topics discussed are relevant to individuals and occasionally the group.

  • Add-on segment:
Part 2 of the ‘Coach in Residence’ program is a 4-month intensive course aimed to ensure ongoing sustainability and support for the program and leadership outcomes.
